Your Ceremony

To make for a picturesque and unforgettable experience, your ceremony will take place in our perfectly manicured Garden Courtyard overlooking the stunning Kiama Harbour and out to the Pacific Ocean.
 
Or if you envisage an indoor ceremony, our gorgeous Heritage Building dating back to 1871 is the perfect alternative. Its high ceilings, exposed beams and fire place help create an elegant and intimate setting for your indoor ceremony.

Catering for weddings up to 150 guests seated or 200 cocktail, our property offers a range of event spaces to suit any event.
 
Choose from our Quarry Room with 180 degree ocean views, our Marquee nestled amongst the Heritage Building or our intimate Assembly Hall with it’s high ceilings and heritage fire place.
 
Each space providing the perfect canvas ready to be styled and filled with your loved ones bringing your dream wedding to life.

All of our packages included the following:

  • A selection of Canapes
  • Two or three-course meal served on an alternate basis (Excluding The Cocktail Package)
  • 4- or 5-hour drinks package
  • Ceremony Arbour, Chairs and Signing Table
  • The choice between round or long tables for your reception
  • Reception furniture including tables, chairs and dance floor.
  • Wishing Well & Table Numbers
  • Wishing well box + table numbers
  • Your choice of menu design and seating plan
  • Your choice of napkins & styled centrepieces
  • Accommodation for the newlyweds, the night before and the night of the Wedding in a Deluxe Room with balcony. Check in from 12:00pm the prior to the wedding and check-out by 4:00pm the day after the wedding.

They sure do! We offer a 10% discount to all wedding guests. Please note this is for direct bookings only.

We recommend that the guests book directly with the hotel and mention they are attending your wedding as a 10% discount will be applied to their reservation. Please direct your guests to contact hello@sebelkiama.com.au or (02) 4230-7500 to book their accommodation.

You, the happy couple, can check in from 12:00 the day before the wedding and then check out by 4:00pm the day after your wedding.

For your guests, the regular check in and check out times apply. Check in from 2:00pm and check out by 11:00am

Unfortunately, no. We are not a BYO venue. All catering and beverage service is provided by The Sebel Kiama. Please contact events@sebelkiama.com.au to discuss your catering requirements.

Final numbers are due 14 business days prior to your event and final payment is due 7 business days prior to your event.

Our wet weather for your ceremony will be held in our heritage building filled with lots of natural light and high ceilings.

No. Usually your celebrant will provide the PA for your ceremony and your DJ/band will provide these items for your reception.

We have 3 options, you can prepay and extend the beverage package, you can start a bar tab or guests can pay for their own beverages.

All weddings need to be finished by 11:30pm

We have 2 carparks on site. The entrance to one if at 2 Minnamurra Street (next to the hotel reception) and the entrance to the other is on Shoalhaven Street next to Penny Whistler café. Both car parks are available for guest parking and are complimentary.

Your furry friends are welcome at the ceremony only. Please note our accommodation is not pet friendly.

Unfortunately, we only offer ceremonies exclusively to couples who are also holding their wedding reception with us.
